30 Days of Drinking Vinegar Tonic

To be honest, I didn’t notice a lot changes after consuming raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar for 30 days. Many of the health benefits seem to be more internal, like lowering blood sugar levels and cholesterol. I’d have to get blood tests done for more information on that.

…That actually doesn’t seem like such a bad idea…Perhaps I should consider doing that!..

Here are some of the distinct changes I did notice:

Loss of Appetite
I didn’t have much of an appetite after drinking vinegar tonic. (Now, it could have been because of the raw honey). This would last about 2-3 hours. I started by drinking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach then wouldn’t feel hungry until a few hours later. Once I noticed this, I drank my serving of vinegar tonic later in the day.

New Recipe
To drink the same thing everyday for a month was pretty fun. Ideas of how to change it up became a part of the focus. Therefore, the original recipe has been altered. I adjusted the ratios and added mint leaves. I think it tastes more refreshing. I’ve been experimenting with ginger and turmeric as well but haven’t gotten the ratios down yet. I’ll make sure to share that version of the vinegar tonic once it’s ready. For now, here’s the recipe for the revised version I’ve been drinking.

Morning Sickness
A friend of mine commented on the original post about how it helped with morning sickness. After a week of drinking the vinegar tonic, 90% of her morning sickness disappeared. Not only that, but her nightly gas and bloating were gone as well. I am so grateful she shared her experience. There are more benefits to drinking this vinegar tonic than I realized. We were able to learn from each other and that’s exactly what I am hoping to accomplish with his site.

I haven’t noticed any negative side effects to drinking vinegar tonic on a daily basis. And I quite enjoy the routine it sort of created. A perfect accompaniment when reading or taking on the go in your commuter mug. I will most definitely continue drinking vinegar tonic, track any affects and keep developing the original recipe.

I am finally beginning to do all the things I think about doing. Instead of just thinking about all the things I want to do.
