I am no expert on the benefits of unfiltered apple cider vinegar. I’ve just read a lot of articles that talk about how great it is for gut health. Still, however, I thought it would be a fun experiment to observe the effects that raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar has on my body. So, everyday for the next 30 days, I will drink Vinegar Tonic and see if I notice any changes. It won’t be the most accurate science experiment, but it’ll be a fun one! If you want to try some for yourself, I’ve left the recipe below.
- 1 TBL Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 TBL Raw Honey
- 1-2 tsp Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 1/2 – 2 C Hot Water
- Large Mug
Combine all ingredients into your favorite mug and stir. Enjoy!
I purchase my honey from a local farmer’s market. You can conveniently get your hands on some raw honey from any grocery store that sells organic and natural products. I also recommend squeezing your own lemon juice rather than using the pre-squeezed kind that comes in a bottle. Just doesn’t taste the same… Most importantly, you can always adjust the measurements to complement your palate.
